Il Focolare is a local “trattoria”, set in one of the green lungs of Ischia, in the midst of the mountains.
The restaurant has been family run for decades and does justice to the rich culture of Ischia. Unlike most islands, slow cooked meat is the speciality here. Il Focolare does it like no other, the signature dish being the traditional ‘Rabbit all’Ischiatana, slowly cooked for hours and served in a traditional way. After dinner they will give you a tour of the wine cellar.
